Pune has strong cultural traditions, is called as the Oxford of East in the educational field and is home to the engineering industry and the IT sector. While its proximity to Mumbai first shot Pune into prominence, it is no longer dependent on Mumbai for sustenance and growth.

 

Pune has expanded rapidly over the past few years and has become a preferred destination for several engineering, information technology, business process outsourcing and software companies who have set up facilities and centers.

 

Today a number of Real estate Developers have designed townships where the apartments and villas and bungalows are designed and developed keeping the Indian Diaspora in mind and this as resulted in lot of bookings from Indians living oversea especially in United States, United Kingdom, Gulf and Middle East Countries, South-East Asian Countries, Australia and New Zealand.
