The story of Amit Enterprises Housing Ltd. began when Shri Govindrao alias Appasaheb Pate (Wani) came to Pune from Chalisgaon in Jalgaon District of Khandesh. He started his career in Pune as a school teacher but his spirit of entrepreneurship compelled him to do something new. He started to gather information on real estate in Pune and thus started a business of real estate brokerage by the name of Vijay Estate Agency.

 

At the tender age of 17 Kishor Pate the eldest son began taking interest in his father’s business. He quickly picked up all the minute details and intricacies of the business. Due to his early entry in business his education took a back seat but he was encouraged by his mother to complete his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Today he is the Chairman and Managing Director of the group

 

In 1983, Amit Enterprises Housing Ltd. was formed as a construction firm. Kishor Pate’s brother Rajendra Pate had completed his Civil Engineering joined the firm and was later joined by their youngest brother, Sanjeev Pate who had completed his education in commerce. All the Pate brothers strove to provide the best to their customers. The unbeatable combination of Kishor’s imagination and business sense, Rajendra’s technical abilities and Sanjeev’s marketing and advertising skills give them an edge over their competitors.
